The course is designed to help students to learn and develop the knowledge and skills of effective communication that will effect efficient communication; promote amicable human relationship in learning and working environments and help to avoid misinformation and waste of resources. This is a general overview of the course that will provide you with useful information about the structure and contents of the course. It is a six-credit hour course comprising two modules with the codes FOST 110 & FOST 120. It is a general and compulsory course for all students registered to study any programme at FBC. It is an important course because it also enhances the English language proficiency of students; noting that it is an international and business language; and above all, it is the language of communication.
